THIS SUNDAY - What kind of power does someone’s testimony have? We will be going through Galatians 1:11-24 and examining how Paul shares his story and the power of the gospel within it. Join us in person at 10 a.m. or watch online at Church Online. 

SMALL GROUPS - we are looking at beginning our small group ministry in early October. We have a few groups starting up so if you would like to join a group please contact the office. 

REMINDER - Ministry coordinators please make sure to complete your report for the past year by October 4th at the latest. This will allow the Leadership Team to prepare for the upcoming AGM.

MEMBERSHIP - The Leadership team met with Matt & Emilie Dorie as they have applied for membership! If there are any questions or inquiries, please contact someone on the Leadership Team. 

PLAN TO PROTECT - Refresher training will be on Wednesday, September 27 at 7:00 p.m. in the upstairs classroom (end of the hall). This is for Sunday School teachers and helpers, ushers, and board members who have done the initial training and need their yearly Refresher Training.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - will be held on October 22nd after the service. This is a time when we reflect on the previous ministry year, vote on the upcoming budget and celebrate what Christ will be doing in the coming year. 

FAMILY GRIEF SUPPORT - The Prince George Hospice Palliative Care is excited to be offering a Family Grief Support Service, which will support children who grieve and their parents (or those who care for them). The programs are separate but will run at the same time. The program is designed to present the same topics to each group, which can then be shared as a family at home together. Each week is a different theme that each age group learns about. It is age-appropriate for each group. We also offer homework that encourages the families to grieve together. The next group will start on September 26th. The groups will run for eight consecutive weeks from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required. For more information call 250-563-2551.

ADVOKATE CELEBRATE LIFE GALA - on Thursday, October 5th 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Prince George Conference & Civic Centre. General Seating is FREE, but RSVP is required for General Seating: Register Here. Pre-dinner (Buffet style) reception is from 6 pm-6:45 pm and is located on the 2nd floor of the civic centre. There will be gluten-free and vegetarian options available upon request. Keynote Speaker: Victoria Robinson is an international public speaker, author, podcast host, former host of HGTV’s My House Is Your House, and founder of ReAssemble, a post-abortion recovery and education organization. GIVING - One of the ways that we respond in faith to God’s grace and God’s goodness is in the area of generosity. When we give sacrificially, even in ways that don’t make sense in the eyes of the world, we’re honouring God with faith.
