THIS SUNDAY -  JD Desbiens will be coming to speak this week about In a culture that is fascinated with fear (Halloween) and at a time of high international turmoil, it is good for the soul to be reminded of the fact we can trust in Jesus because there is power in His name. Come join us in person at 10:00 am or online at: Church Online .

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - Will be held on October 27th after the service. This is a time when we reflect on the previous ministry year, vote on the upcoming budget, and celebrate what Christ will be doing in the coming year.

GIESBRECHT MEAL TRAIN - The church has created a meal train for the Giesbrecht family after the unexpected loss of their sister Lynnelle Giesbrecht on October 1st. Kristy Giesbrecht will also be having an invasive surgery on Oct 21st where she will need to have the time to heal. I am setting up this meal train for them in case anyone at the church can provide some dinners for them so they can take the time to grieve and rest as a family. Only 5 spots left to sign up! Please click the link to Sign up.

OCTOBER BENEVOLENCE INITIATIVE - “Our benevolence opportunity this month is toward the ministry of St. Vincent de Paul’s Drop-In Centre.  All monetary gifts received in CFBC’s Benevolence Fund during October will be sent (via cheque) directly to St. Vincent de Paul. Jesus stated “I’m telling the solemn truth: Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me — you did it to me.” (Matthew 25:40 MSG) CFBC’s Caring Ministry”
