THIS SUNDAY - We are starting a new series entitled: The Family of God. This Sunday, we will be focusing on God as our Father and studying the Parable of the Prodigal Son. Read Luke 15:11-24 and come join us in person at 10:00 am or online at: Church Online.

CHILI & PIE NIGHT - We will be having our first (and hopefully annual) chili & pie night at CFBC! Come join us on March 28th at 6:00 pm at the church. Guys are on for making chili and girls are on for making pie - there will be prizes for best tasting, spiciest, etc. Bring along some games to play as well! 

TAX RETURNS UPDATE - "The CRA is allowing January to February 2025 donations to be included in 2024 tax returns if the taxpayer so chooses.  Therefore, charitable donation receipts for January 1 to February 28, 2025 have been mailed, emailed, or hand delivered this past week.   It will be your choice if you wish to claim the January and February 2025 amounts on your 2024 tax return or your 2025 tax return. Please note that the 2025-year end receipts issued next year in February 2026 will only include March to December 2025 amounts."

BLESSING PLACE - Blessing place (staffed nursery) is now open for anyone wanting to drop off their babies under 2 years old and under with our trained volunteers. Make sure to fill out a registration form if it’s their first time, and sign in with the volunteers on staff

CONTACT LIST - If you are new to the church in the last year, we are currently in the middle of updating our church family list with your contact info (official member or consistent church attendee). Please either email us back with your email address, phone number, and full mailing address or to tell Chelsea on Sunday. For long-term members at your church, have you moved recently in the last couple of years and let the church know your new address? If unsure, please check with Chelsea.

CFBC VALUES - We believe that gathering regularly for worship is a crucial part of what it means to be the church. It isn’t just about a weekly ritual or habit; there is something profound that happens when the church gathers collectively to worship our LORD, to fellowship with one another and to challenge and encourage each other. 

CFBC NEWSLETTER - If you know of someone new to the church, ask them if they signed up for our newsletter? Which can help them stay up to date with the church events and updates. Let them know they can sign up by talking to Chelsea Martin or by emailing office@centralfellowship.ca 

MEMBERSHIP - If you are interested in membership or have questions as to what membership is all about, please speak with someone from the Leadership Team. To put it briefly, membership fulfils our obligation as a non-profit, but more importantly it speaks to our commitment to one another and allows each member to hold one another accountable to biblical principles. 

GIVING - One of the ways that we respond in faith to God’s grace and God’s goodness is in the area of generosity. When we give sacrificially, even in ways that don’t make sense in the eyes of the world, we’re honouring God with faith. You can also give via eTransfers or online at Give Online.
