THIS SUNDAY - We are looking at Acts 2:42-47. How did the early church live out discipleship? What does it mean to be a community? Do we really have to share everything? Come join us in person at 10:00am or online at: Church Online.
ROKEBY MISSION UPDATE - We pray that this letter finds you enjoying a crisp and sunny autumn day. It is safe to say that fall is here. The drone of the cicadas is a distant memory and we are loving the comfortable weather. Earlier this month, Andrew was using his new grammar construct to tell people, "This weather is like Vancouver's summer weather." Read More Online Here.
MOVIE NIGHT ‘THE FORGE’ - CFBC will be having a movie night at the church on Friday, November 8th with two showings (6:45 pm and 9pm) tickets can be purchased online through the link. Here is the movie trailer: Movie Trailer
LEADERSHIP TEAM RETREAT - The Leadership Team will be heading to Houston, BC for a retreat on November 2nd. Please pray for safety and that this would be a time to revitalise, refresh and connect with one another!
YOUTH GROUP - We are excited to announce our initial plans to engage with our youth at CFBC. This will start with a Youth Class run on Sunday mornings, for grades 7-12, on a one-month-on and one-month-off schedule. This time together is meant to help bridge being in Sunday School to actively participating in our church family.
FRIEND-RAISING DESSERT NIGHT - QUESNEL & PG - Ness Lake Bible Camp's annual Friend-Raising Dessert nights are coming up very soon! Tickets are $20/person (childcare is free, with limited spaces). Join us for a time of connection, stories and laughs as we celebrate past success and look ahead to more great years of sharing the Gospel! Doors open at 6pm for each event. Prince George: We will gather at Westwood Church on Friday November 8th and tickets are available on Eventbrite.
CFBC NEWSLETTER - If you know of someone who is new to the church, ask them if they signed up for our newsletter? Which can help them stay up to date with the church events and updates. Let them know they can sign up by talking to Chelsea Martin or by emailing office@centralfellowship.ca
MEMBERSHIP - If you are interested in membership or have questions as to what membership is all about, please speak with someone from the Leadership Team. To put it briefly, membership fulfils our obligation as a non-profit, but more importantly it speaks to our commitment to one another and allows each member to hold one another accountable to biblical principles.
GIVING Because you give, we can hire staff, purchase supplies, purchase curriculum, and teach kids about Jesus. We’re teaching Bible stories to your children to lay a foundation for God’s actions in their lives. We’re discipling people in their walk with Jesus. And your giving makes that possible. We’re so proud to be a part of a church that takes this mission seriously. You can also give via eTransfers donations@centralfellowship.ca or online at Give Online.
