THIS SUNDAY -  We will be looking at what it means to wait on God with hope. What might it have been like for those who waited for the birth of the Messiah? Where did they find their hope after such a long period of silence? Read Matthew 1:18-25 and come join us in person at 10:00am or online at: Church Online.

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE - We will be having a Christmas Eve service on December 24th at 6:00pm; it will be roughly 45 minutes in length. Come join us as we celebrate the birth of Christ together and mark the end of Advent!

CHRISTIAN HERITAGE MONTH - We are very blessed that our Mayor, Simon Yu, has joined over 40 mayors in cities across Canada to proclaim December as Christian Heritage month. In honor of this we are inviting the body of Christ to join with us to bless our neighbors on Sunday, December 15th by taking them some baked goods or chocolates or do something creative as a city-wide celebration and to let our neighbors know that Jesus loves them.  If everyone even went to a neighbor on either side of them it would make a huge impact in the city.

SALES MEAL TRAIN - The Sales family has had a rough go of it lately, with Ken in and out of the hospital. Unfortunately, while Joanne was taking care of him, she broke her right arm and now has limited mobility. This meal train is to help them have some good meals while they both take time to recover. Please consider signing up HERE if you have the time.

YOUTH GROUP - Youth Class will start to run on Sunday mornings, for grades 7-12, on a one-month-on and one-month-off schedule. December 1st and each Sunday for the remainder of 2024 will have youth class. This time together is meant to help bridge being in Sunday School to actively participating in our church family.

GIVING - Generosity has little to do with how much you have.  It has everything to do with the attitude of your heart and your faithful obedience to God. Generosity is one of those perspective-altering things…when we focus on the needs of others, we become less selfish and happier.  When you only think about the things you don’t have or how miserable things are, it’s tough not to feel bad.  But when you think about God’s goodness and grace, despite our own mess-ups, our perspective changes. You can also give via eTransfers donations@centralfellowship.ca or online at Give Online.
