THIS SUNDAY - We will be finishing our series by looking at our identity in Christ. What does it mean to be a new creation? Why is knowing our identity in Christ important to our spiritual journey and relationship with the Father? What are some obstacles? Come join us in person at 10:00am or online at: Church Online.

POTLUCK SUNDAY - Reminder we are having a potluck this Sunday, April 6th after the service. Please bring a meal to share with the rest of our church family. In honour of Easter the theme this month is ‘spring chickens and chocolate’ if you have any questions, please email the office or email Andre our social coordinator for more information.

SPRING PLANNING MEETING - Please mark your calendars! We will be having our Spring Planning Meeting on Sunday, June 1st after the service during our potluck time.

DORIE VAN SEARCH - The Dorie family are on the lookout for a van that can seat 8 passengers as soon as possible. If anyone knows of a van (make, model, Kilometres do not matter) that is available for purchase at a good price point (under 30K) please let them know.

CARING MINISTRY INITIATIVE - The CFBC Caring Ministry’s Benevolence Initiative for the month of February 2025, was, as you’ll recall, sending all Benevolence Funds raised during the month to Prince George’s Phoenix Transition Society.  A cheque for $500.00 was sent to support this valuable charity.  Thank you for giving, that others would thrive! During the month of April, we have the blessed opportunity to support the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society (Hospice House)!  All monies donated to the CFBC Benevolence Fund during April will be given as a token of our care and love to the Hospice House (which is also our neighbour!).  The Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society runs a ten bed facility equipped to accommodate those looking for palliative, end-of-life care and respite.  Their Solace Centre provides community outreach which includes caregiver and bereavement support.  Will you give thought to donating beyond your tithes and offerings to the CFBC Benevolence Fund this month?  Hospice House is run by true angels, and your support for this invaluable community care centre will always be so very appreciated!  Let’s extend the Lord’s hands from this end of Clapperton Street to the other end! - Becky Gairns

ROKEBY MISSION UPDATE - We pray that this letter finds you enjoying warmer temperatures. As you read this e-mail, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom here in Tokyo. The beautiful flowers are a reminder of God's creation and dominion even in this spiritually dark place. The highlight of our last month was Tanja's visit to her hair salon. If you remember, Tanja gave her stylist a Manga Messiah tract the last time she was in for a cut. TO READ MORE CLICK HERE

CFBC VALUES - We believe that learning and growing together is a crucial aspect of spiritual growth. Are you being discipled by someone? Are you plugged into a small group? What are some ways that you are ensuring that you learn and grow with others?

CFBC NEWSLETTER - If you know of someone who is new to the church, ask them if they signed up for our newsletter? Which can help them stay up to date with the church events and updates. Let them know they can sign up by talking to Chelsea Martin or by emailing office@centralfellowship.ca

MEMBERSHIP - If you are interested in membership or have questions as to what membership is all about, please speak with someone from the Leadership Team. To put it briefly, membership fulfils our obligation as a non-profit, but more importantly it speaks to our commitment to one another and allows each member to hold one another accountable to biblical principles.

GIVING - One of the ways that we respond in faith to God’s grace and God’s goodness is in the area of generosity. When we give sacrificially, even in ways that don’t make sense in the eyes of the world, we’re honouring God with faith. You can also give via eTransfers or online at Give Online.
