THIS SUNDAY - As we continue to look at the Beatitudes, we will be focusing on “Blessed are the Poor in Spirit”. What does this mean? Is it speaking of being materially poor or something else? Why does God seem to care so much for those who are powerless? Please join us in person at 10 a.m. or watch online at Church Online.
SNOW REMOVAL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - This Sunday, there will be a clipboard passed around as we need snow removal volunteers for the remainder of the season for 2024. If you are interested you can also sign up by reaching out to the office administrator to see what weeks need volunteers.
CFBC FAMILY BOARD - It’s that time of year again when we will be requesting recent pictures of your beautiful faces/families as we will be updating the family board across from the kitchen. If you would like to update your current photo or if you are new to the church and would like to be added please email a picture to office@centralfellowship.ca with every person's full name listed who are in the photo if they are currently a member, and how long they have been attending CFBC. If you could please send them in by Friday, March 15th that would be appreciated.
MISSION ROKEBY UPDATE - Part of moving to a new home in Japan is delivering a small gift to one's new neighbours. As a family, we visited each neighbour to deliver a very Canadian gift: a small bottle of maple syrup and some maple candies. Our four immediate neighbours are all middle-aged couples. One was excited to hear that we are from Canada as he had once travelled to Quebec. Please pray for them. Even with our limited language skills, the Lord has been connecting us with ministry opportunities. Earlier this month, Andrew met with a young man who was leaving the next day to spend a year in Toronto. We connected him with a Toronto area pastor and former missionary to Japan. Furthermore, this past Sunday we visited our potential partner church and met a non-Christian woman who will be studying at the University of Victoria this fall. We are planning to connect her with friends and a church. Please pray that these two students will be embraced by the body of Christ. Read More Here

GIVING - Generosity has little to do with how much you have. It has everything to do with the attitude of your heart and your faithful obedience to God. Generosity is one of those perspective-altering things…when we focus on the needs of others, we become less selfish and happier. When you only think about the things you don’t have or how miserable things are, it’s tough not to feel bad. But when you think about God’s goodness and grace, despite our mess-ups, our perspective changes. You can place your gifts in the donation box in the foyer or use the debit machine there. You can also give via eTransfers donations@centralfellowship.ca or online at Give Online.
