THIS SUNDAY - We continue our theme of Waiting On God - specifically, waiting on him in uncertainty. What do we do when life is uncertain? Why does God seemingly make us wait? Read Luke 1:26-38 in preparation for Sunday and come join us in person at 10:00am or online at: Church Online.
CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE - We will be having a Christmas Eve service on December 24th at 6:00pm; it will be roughly 45 minutes in length. Come join us as we celebrate the birth of Christ together and mark the end of Advent!
SALES MEAL TRAIN - The Sales family has had a rough go of it lately, with Ken in and out of the hospital. Unfortunately, while Joanne was taking care of him, she broke her right arm and now has limited mobility. This meal train is to help them have some good meals while they both take time to recover. Please consider signing HERE if you have the time.
MARTIN MEAL TRAIN - The church has created a meal train for Andrew & Alaysia Martin as their little baby girl came into the world on November 23rd. As they take time to heal and enjoy their new little family, we as a church would like to help take some of the stress away by having meals prepared. Please click here to sign up for their meal train. You can reach out to Chelsea (604-970-0262) or Andrew if you have any questions.
YOUTH GROUP - Youth Class will start to run on Sunday mornings, for grades 7-12, on a one-month-on and one-month-off schedule. December 1st and each Sunday for the remainder of 2024 will have youth class. This time together is meant to help bridge being in Sunday School to actively participating in our church family.

ROKEBY’S MISSION UPDATE - We pray that this letter finds you enjoying the tastes of the Christmas season. Recently, Andrew had a fun conversation with his barber about traditional Canadian Christmas foods. He struggled to explain Christmas cake using his range of Japanese vocabulary. He settled on "a dense cake with fruit that is not fresh that grandpas enjoy." In our family, Grandpa gets to enjoy the Christmas cake all by himself. Read More Here.

GIVING - Generosity has little to do with how much you have. It has everything to do with the attitude of your heart and your faithful obedience to God. Generosity is one of those perspective-altering things…when we focus on the needs of others, we become less selfish and happier. When you only think about the things you don’t have or how miserable things are, it’s tough not to feel bad. But when you think about God’s goodness and grace, despite our own mess-ups, our perspective changes. You can also give via eTransfers donations@centralfellowship.ca or online at Give Online.
